(All odds quoted at William Hill)

Juvenile Fillies: 5.30pm

This is generally a favorites race but there has been the odd shock. Cash Included will be hard to beat but SUTRA did nothing wrong last time and at 12/1, she is the value here.

Juvenile: 6.10pm

There are a lot of rising stars in this race but SCAT DADDY is another that won well last time out and at the Breeder's, form is everything. He is ready to win again at the main expense of Circular Quay. He is likely to start at around 7-2.

Filly & Mare Turf: 6.55pm

A mouthwatering affair as Ouija goes for a third time in the states. I just feel that Ouija is too short and is up against a brilliant WAIT A WHILE. Undefeated on grass, she will push Ouija to her limits and I fancy her to do the business at around 5-2.

Sprint: 7.35pm

Henny Hughes is a magnificent horse but like Ouija, is no value for this race especially as she meets BORDONARO. Bordonaro will go off in front and with superb beyer figures can hold off all challenges. Pomeroy is too inconsistent. Siren Lure has won 8 from 11 recently and may get close to BORDONARO down the final stretch.

Mile: 8.15pm

I advise a NO BET in this tough race. I expect an outsider to win this race but do not want to stick my neck out and pick it.

Distaff: 8.55pm

Keep your money in your pocket. Fleet Indian is way too short and any one of the top seven in the betting could come good. NO BET

Turf: 9.35pm

Can Hurricane Run get the race to suit? English Channel has good credentials and should be held up for a late run but CACIQUE has run some good races recently and has the beating of both of these if he is firing on the day. This is a high quality field and horses right down to Better Talk Now are all able to take the race on the day so keep your stakes low.

Classic: 10.20pm

Tremendous race with strength in depth. Bernardini is a great horse and is six for six - but he is only a 3 year old. He has beaten older horses but not top quality horses like this. I think the bookies will collect big on this race as Bernardini disappoints at very short odds. There is talent reaching even to the 40-1 ranks but it is unlikely that we will see the Brother Derek and Lawyer Ron that was expected early in their careers. Perfect Drift at 33-1 could stay for a place but I think Invasor and LAVA MAN will fight this out. Lava Man is a 5 yr old with bags of talent. The only problem is that he rarely runs his finest away from California but he has a lot of guts and I think he can get the better of Invasor who has had a recent set-back in training. Lava Man may have to run through a bit of pain but I can see his name on the cup now.
